Role: Embedded Application Engineer - Vision Team
Experience the field of automated driving, driver assistance or active safety systems is preferred. Good knowledge of Linux, C++, Cross-Compilation, GPU programming is preferred. Ideally, you will have basic knowledge of automotive development processes or ISO26262, ARM CPU architecture, parallel programming (multi-core, multi-threading and CUDA or OpenCL), Extensive experience with build tools like Make/Cmake and setup/debug of cross-build environments. You will use agile processes and C++ language to develop real-time software and collateral. You will work in modern simulation environments and have direct access to test vehicles to rapidly experience your results first-hand. You will work on self-guided cross-functional teams and interface globally where you will help make decisions.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Computer Science
- +5 years of industry experience
- Strong background and prior experience developing Vision software for fully autonomous vehicles
- Excellent C/C++ programming
- Comfortable working in a Linux environment
- Experience with design principles, debugging and work with Linux-based debuggers, and conducting code reviews.
- Prior AD/ADAS automotive experience
