What You Will Do
Our Vision Team is looking for an Embedded Software Engineer. Experience in
the field of automated driving, driver assistance or active safety systems is
preferred. Good knowledge of Linux, C++, Cross-Compilation, GPU programming is
preferred. Ideally, you will have basic knowledge of automotive development
processes or ISO26262, ARM CPU architecture, parallel programming
(multi-core, multi-threading and CUDA or OpenCL), Extensive experience
with build tools like Make/Cmake and setup/debug of cross-build
environments. You will use agile
processes and C++ language to develop real-time software and collateral. You will work in modern simulation
environments and have direct access to test vehicles to rapidly experience your
results first-hand. You will work on
self-guided cross-functional teams and interface globally where you will help
A Bachelor’s Degree in
Engineering or Science is required, but a Master’s or PhD is perferred, as well
as +5 years of industry experience. You
must have a strong background and prior experience developing Vision software
for fully autonomous vehicles. You must have excellent C/C++ programming
experience and be comfortable working in a Linux environment. You must have experience with design principles, debugging and working
with Linux-based debuggers, and conducting code reviews. For this
role, you must also have prior AD/ADAS automotive experience.
Beneficial skills include automotive
embedded software experience, NVIDIA/CUDA experience, Functional Safety (ISO
26262) and AUTOSAR knowledge. Also,
experience in requirements/user story development, unit testing, software integration,
exposure to inter-process communications (shared memory, Sockets, message
passing, DDS) and design for real-time OS is beneficial. Additionally, experience with robotics, ROS,
and/or UAVs is beneficial
