Role: Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer - Systems Team
Our System Team is looking for a Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer to provide companywide engineering processes and methods to enable the teams release high quality safety-critical autonomous vehicle systems for real production autonomous vehicle products. You will define quality measures and processes to ensure that safety-critical software meets ASPICE standards and the required ASIL criteria of the ISO26262 Standard. You will perform Quality Assessments and ensure that engineering processes compliant to Automotive SPICE, ISO 26262 & other relevant standards, and at the same time aligned with the Zenuity Agile way-of-working. You will work on our Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tool and develop meta-models, guidelines and templates compliant to our processes. You will also take responsibility to adapt and integrate tools to support the engineering processes. You will work on self-guided cross-functional teams and interface globally where you will help make decisions. You will also mentor the team on technical issues, tools, and processes as necessary. This role will have two aspects to it. The first is to be the Detroit office representative in the corporate Quality Assurance team. The second is to teach and work with the local teams in the Detroit office to be able to develop software based upon the decided approaches/processes.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Computer Science
- 10+ years of industry experience
- Strong background in developing Quality Assurance Processes and Assessments for safety critical automotive standards (AD/ADAS in particular)
- Experience in Functional Safety Analysis
- Strong experience with Automotive SPICE (ASPICE)
- Experience with ISO26262 Standards
- Prior experience with Application LifeCycle Management Tools
