What you will do?
As a Senior C++ developer within perception, you will work with embedded implementation of perception algorithms for autonomous driving, as well as evaluation, troubleshooting and tuning of the algorithms. You will also take active part in designing the software modules to enable flexibility and scaling. You will be part of a team working on perception problems, like object detection or semantic segmentation. In both areas, the sensor set includes radar, lidar, camera and ultrasonics. There will be a strong focus on algorithms possible to implement and run in real time on affordable target hardware. On top of algorithm implementation and software design, you will also be responsible for evaluating the algorithms towards a ground-truth system and test-track data, which might require taking part in the actual data collection. You will also be active in vehicle testing and troubleshooting.
- Master or PhD. in a related technical field
- 5+ years of programming experience, where you've developed solid knowledge of C++ and experience in software design
- Experience with developing embedded real-time algorithms, preferably in an agile development environment
Furthermore, following experiences and skills in following areas would be beneficial:
- GPU programming
- Git/Gerrit/Jenkins, Jira or similar
- From automotive industry and development of active safety systems
- Using data from one or several sensor modalities
- Functional safety
- Computer Vision and image processing algorithms
- Deep Learning/Machine Learning
