What will you do?

We are looking for skilled and motivated mechanics for our workshop located at Lindholmen, Gothenburg. As a member of the prototype build and workshop team you will modify and maintain prototype vehicles, used for advanced development within the area of autonomous drive as well as advance driving system. This include everything from build/rebuild, maintenance of prototype vehicles, both mechanical and electrical, verify the built vehicles, electrical fault trace, sensor calibration to SW download. Engineers and mechanics will work together in cross functional agile development sub-teams, which will enable efficiency and knowledge building. The team’s delivery is prototype vehicles with high quality and great design.


This excellent opportunity will require skills in assembly, HW, electronics, harness, basic electrical fault tracing, SW download, calibration of sensors. If you do not have the skills with you from the start you will be trained to handle all these areas.

We do however expect you to have experience from workshop in the automotive industry, Pilot plant, assembly factory and a good general vehicle knowledge, both regarding hardware and software.

You also must have a drivers licence B, valid in Sweden and adequate driving experience as well as basic English, written and spoken.

If you have experience of any of the following areas, it would be highly beneficial but not mandatory:

  • Working with vehicles within the areas of Active safety and Autonomous Driving
  • Vehicle based testing
  • Harness fault tracing
  • EOL experience
  • Handle SW including download
  • Sensor calibration
  • Custom made interior/exterior procurement and assembly
  • Harness / cables manufacturing
