What You Will Do
As a UX/HIM Developer, you will envision and create simple, thoughtful, enjoyable, and compelling product experiences that continually inspire and engage our teams and customers. You will work in self-guided teams and interface globally, where you will help make decisions. We are looking for a UX/HMI Developer to join us in creating the future interactions and experiences for our global customers.
Your Background and Skills
A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent is required, but a Master’s degree is preferred, along with minimum 3 years industry experience in HMI or HCI.
You should be able to learn and develop quickly and efficiently with new SDKs and IDEs. You should have experience with communication technologies such as TCP/IP, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and CAN/FlexRay/MOST. You should also have experience with single-board micro controllers / computers like Raspberry Pi, Arduino, BeagleBoard, chipKIT, etc. for the rapid development of digital devices.
Bonus skills include experience with OpenGL, RDBMS, social media, WebAPI, server file system, and the ability to configure data acquisition framework for a variety of data sources. Experience with various sensor types used for measuring force, position, acceleration, and light are also desirable. Experience with Game Development, Unity3D or Unreal are also beneficial.
Prior experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and version control management systems like Git/Gerrit are beneficial.
Other engineering, process and general skills needed for the role include
- Maintaining high standards of SW Quality within teams by following and promoting good practices and habits
- Collaborating with other software engineers to plan, design, develop, test, and maintain embedded applications
- Collaborating with internal cross-functional teams and suppliers to design, develop, document, and maintain software deliverables for various projects
- Prior experience working in a fast-paced Agile/SCRUM envorinment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to self-motivate, manage individual workload, and deliver to established project milestones
- Inspiring Personality and strong work ethic
