WHAT YOU WILL DO 

Our Localization Team is looking for an Algorithm Engineer! The Localization Team at Zenuity develops algorithms that use sensor (camera, RADAR, LIDAR, Ultrasonic, IMU, GPS, etc.) data to determine the position and orientation of the autonomous vehicle in the world to enable safe operation alongside other vehicles and objects. You will be responsible for participating in the development, simulation, implementation, integration, and testing of localization algorithms for safety critical autonomous vehicle systems for real production products. You will use agile processes and C++ code to develop real-time software and collateral. You will work in modern simulation environments and have direct access to test vehicles to rapidly experience your results first-hand. You will work on self-guided cross-functional teams building fully autonomous vehicle solutions! 

MUST-HAVE SKILLS 

A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Science is required, but a Master’s or PhD is preferred. This position is open to those with limited industry experience. You must have some experience developing localization techniques and algorithms. You also must have some level of experience with SLAM, IMU, odometry, and some experience with LIDAR and other automotive AD sensors (RADAR, Camera, Ultrasonic). Experience with probabilistic filters, pose estimation, state estimation, and Kalman filters are typically needed. You must have good C/C++ programming experience and be comfortable working in a Linux environment. 

EXTRA SKILLS 

Beneficial skills and experience include automotive embedded software experience, NVIDIA experience, Functional Safety (ISO 26262) and AUTOSAR knowledge, experience in requirements development, unit testing, and software integration, and experience with Git, JIRA and Confluence. Additionally, experience with robotics, and/or UAVs is beneficial.
