WHAT YOU WILL DO
Our Static Environment Team is looking for a Requirements Verification Engineer! The Static Environment Team at Zenuity develops algorithms that fuse sensor (camera, RADAR, LIDAR, Ultrasonic, etc.) data to detect, classify, and map the static environment around the autonomous vehicle to enable safe operation alongside other vehicles and objects. As a Requirements Verification Engineer, you will be responsible for the development of Zenuity’s requirements testing capability, and for executing requirements testing of the Static Environment Team’s fusion and occupancy grid algorithms for safety critical autonomous vehicle systems for real production products. You will use agile processes, C++ skills, and testing knowledge to help develop and deploy Zenuity’s Requirements Testing strategy which will be automated and will enable Requirements Testing to be completed quickly with full requirements coverage. You will work on self-guided cross-functional Agile teams and interface internally with other Verification Engineers who are working to develop this testing infrastructure.
A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering is required, but a Master’s is preferred. This position requires some past industry experience. You must have a strong background and prior experience with System Architecture, Requirements Verification, and Black Box Testing strategies. Experience interfacing with automotive AD sensors (RADAR, Camera, LIDAR, Ultrasonic, IMU) are also highly useful. You must have strong C/C++ programming skills and be comfortable working in a Linux environment.
Past experience with embedded automotive software products, Functional Safety (ISO 26262), AUTOSAR, and ASPICE knowledge, requirements/user story development, software integration, unit testing, software build, and experience with Git, JIRA and Confluence are all beneficial for this role. Additionally, experience with Autonomous Vehicles, robotics, and/or UAVs is beneficial.
