WHAT YOU WILL DO
Our Vision Team is looking for a senior level Machine Vision Engineer. You will be responsible for developing state of the art image processing and machine vision solutions (tracking, SLAM, visual-inertial odometry, structure from motion and 3D reconstruction, occupancy grid algorithms) to help develop a model of the world around the vehicle for safety critical autonomous vehicle systems for real production products. You will use agile processes and C++ language for Vision algorithm development while working in modern simulation environments and have direct access to test vehicles to rapidly experience your results first-hand. At Zenuity we work on self-guided cross-functional teams and interface globally where you will help make decisions. This role will mentor the team on technical issues, tools, and processes as necessary.
A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Science is required, but a Master’s or PhD is perferred, as well as 10+ years of industry experience. You must have a strong background and prior experience developing vision software for fully autonomous vehicles or ADAS.
Beneficial skills and experience include and automotive embedded software experience, NVIDIA/CUDA experience, Functional Safety (ISO 26262), experience in requirements/user story development, unit testing, and software integration. Additionally, experience with robotics, ROS, and/or UAVs is beneficial.
